Ameresco Expands Capability to Deliver Renewable Energy Solutions Through Key Acquisition of Southwest Photovoltaic Systems Inc.

Ameresco, Inc. with offices in Dallas, has purchased Southwest Photovoltaic Systems, Inc. (Southwest PV), a Tomball, Texas-based designer, integrator and distributor of photovoltaic (solar electric), wind and other renewable energy systems, serving customers throughout the United States and the world. Southwest PV has a focus on specialty off-grid and small to mid-scale grid connected applications.
Ameresco is North America's largest independent, single-source provider of energy solutions and has implemented more than $3 billion in energy-related services including energy efficiency, infrastructure renewal, landfill gas, water conservation, and natural gas and electricity supply.
